This website operates strictly as a personal portfolio, digital archive, and interactive resume. It is a non-commercial project designed to showcase software architecture, self written blogs, and personal storytelling. No part of this website is monetized, ad-supported, or used for commercial financial gain.
01. Third-Party Media & Audio Licensing
This archive contains curated media modules that aggregate third-party content. All third-party properties, including audio tracks, remain the sole intellectual property of their respective creators and rights holders.
The Music Engine (YouTube API): Audio playback within the curated music sections utilizes the official YouTube Data API v3. Media is delivered via native, unmodified iframe embeds. All playback views, metadata, and potential ad-revenues are routed directly to the original creators and rightsholders via Google’s platform.
The Visual Archive (Instagram Exports): Video files and "Stories" hosted on this domain are personal archival exports. Some of these files contain background audio or licensed music originally provided through the Instagram platform. These are displayed strictly under the doctrines of Fair Use for non-commercial, personal, and autobiographical portfolio purposes. No ownership of the underlying musical compositions or master recordings is claimed or implied.
02. Financial & Analytical Disclaimers
The "Ledger" (currently in the works as an added feature) and associated financial modules contain dynamic calculators, portfolio visualizations, and asset analyses. These tools are built strictly to demonstrate backend API integration, data visualization, and software engineering capabilities. Nothing on this website constitutes certified financial, legal, or tax advice. All mechanical calculations, compound interest projections, and market comparisons should be independently verified before making personal financial decisions.
03. Original Intellectual Property & Open Source Licensing
This project utilizes a split licensing approach to separate the underlying software architecture from personal brand assets.
03.1 The Codebase (MIT License)
The foundational source code, database architectures, and routing logic powering this site are open source under the MIT License. You are free to inspect, modify, and utilize the structural Next.js codebase for your own projects. For full terms, please refer to the LICENSE file in the project's GitHub repository.
03.2 Personal Assets & Design (CC BY-NC-ND 4.0 License)
All personal content is strictly protected under a Creative Commons (CC BY-NC-ND 4.0) License and remains the exclusive intellectual property of Ashzaeen Fatmi Khan. This includes, but is not limited to:
- ◈Visual Archives: Personal photography and "stories" featured in the travel and gallery sections.
- ◈Written Works: Original articles, reviews, research documents, and project schematics.
- ◈Brand Identity: Personal branding, custom logos, and specific UI/UX design elements.
You may not remix, transform, redistribute, or use these specific media, written works, or design assets for commercial purposes without explicit written consent. If you are using this open source codebase as a template for your own portfolio, please remove all of my personal information and assets, and replace them with your own.
03.3 Attribution Notice

04. Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) Notice
